Tarte’s 12-hour Full Coverage Amazonian Clay Foundation wasn’t in my original post for best foundations of the summer, but when I tried it, I had to include it! This foundation is AMAZING. Tarte’s Amazonian Clay foundation is thick and mousse-like, it is definitely full coverage and it’s perfect for oily skin. Clay products are great for absorbing oil on the skin, so this foundation will not make your face oily.
The second I applied this, it looked so much like skin and very natural. The bottle is also 1.7 oz, which is a lot of product for a foundation. After I finished my sample, I immediately bought the full size version of it. I’m in the shade Deep, which isn’t so deep at all. One con is that they need to make a bigger variety of shades. There are only 5 or 6 you can choose from. If you are looking for a full-coverage summer foundation, I would totally recommend this one. It is absolutely amazing!

Nice review! Just curious about the Tarte foundation; is it for yellow undertones because I’m an NW 45 and I have reddish/orange undertones. Do you think this might work on my skin tone?
Hi Lisa! The great thing about the Deep color is that it considers all undertones. (I’m an NW43/44 depending). I have a golden undertone that leans on the red side and it’s literally a PERFECT match. It’s not too yellor or too red which I like. It should definitely suit your skin tone!
