Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24 Hour Foundation is the only foundation I’ve tried that lives up to all of its claims. Out of all of the liquid foundations I own, it’s the most natural looking as well (Even more so than my beloved Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation, but this is a close second. Though Tarte isn’t really a liquid, but a clay-like texture).
Lancome describes this foundation as a
velvety smooth foundation blends effortlessly for shine-free, round-the-clock comfort. Retouching throughout the day is unnecessary with this expert formula, which took Lancome eight years of research to perfect and unveil. Available in an impressively wide range of shades, Teint Idole Ultra 24H provides all skintones flawless, even, complexion-perfecting coverage.
I wear this foundation in 460 and it’s perfect for me. I wore it to church and experienced NO oiliness whatsoever and that’s pretty good, considering that we have been going through a heat wave this summer! The foundation is the usual 1 oz size as well. I like that Lancome included a pump with this foundation and I also love the natural finish I get with it. It’s a dewy semi-matte. Very pretty for pictures.
The packaging looks expensive, but the glass looks like it can break easily. The foundation comes in both cool and warm shades and also considers darker skin tones. I don’t like the fact that it jumps from 460 to 500 though, because those are huge shades they are missing out. I’m a 460 and although it matches me perfectly, someone slightly darker than me may not need 460 and find 500 too dark.(I use 500 in the pictures as a demonstration, though). It lasted longer than 8 hours on me with minimal dabbing or touching up. I really like this foundation. It’s light (and feels light), but still provides enough coverage to even out your skin tone.
